Dr. Yejin Ahn was born and raised in Seoul, South Korea and her family immigrated to the U.S. when she was 9 years old. Dr. Ahn spent the rest of her adolescence in a suburb of Philadelphia and moved to Utah in 1998 to attend BYU. After her freshman year, Dr. Ahn served a mission in Concepción, Chile for the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints, and later graduated from BYU with Bachelor of Science degree in Biology. Dr. Ahn then moved to San Francisco to attend University of the Pacific, Arthur A. Dugoni School of Dentistry. Dr. Ahn and her husband Alex moved back to Utah after dental school to build their family, and they now have 4 children. She and her family love spending time together outdoors, riding bikes, camping, and taking road trips!
