With a background in both dental assisting and dental hygiene, Chance Stickney brings a well-rounded approach to patient care. She spent five years as a dental assistant before earning her Dental Hygiene degree from Fortis College in Salt Lake City, following two years of study at Utah Valley University.
Driven by her passion for healthcare and helping others, Chance combines her love for science with her desire to make a meaningful difference in patients’ lives. She believes in building strong relationships with her patients and takes pride in helping them leave each visit healthier than when they arrived.
Her advice for better oral health is simple: Start small and build healthy habits gradually. She believes that lasting change comes from manageable steps and consistency.
To help patients feel comfortable, Chance focuses on listening, clear communication, and providing reassurance throughout each visit. She’s committed to creating a calm, personalized experience—especially for those who may feel anxious about dental care.
As part of the Abundant Dental Care team, Chance values the positive, collaborative environment where everyone works together to deliver exceptional care. She also dedicates time each year to completing at least 30 hours of continuing education to stay informed about the latest advancements in dentistry.
Outside the office, Chance enjoys spending time with her three cats — Cheddar, Jessica, and Marnie — as well as visiting family in Georgia whenever she can. She’s an avid reader, practices Pilates, and has recently taken up pickleball with her boyfriend. While she considers herself more of an “indoor cat,” she’s making an effort to step outside her comfort zone and spend more time enjoying the outdoors.
