For Dr. Chris Neibauer, DDS, FAGD, dentistry has always been about more than treating teeth. It is about caring for people, earning their trust, and creating an experience that can genuinely improve their lives.
That belief became the foundation for Abundant Dental Care.
After decades of practicing dentistry, serving patients, building successful dental practices, and continually searching for better ways to deliver care, Dr. Neibauer founded Abundant Dental Care with a clear purpose: to create a dental experience where patients come first and exceptional care is the standard.
Today, that purpose continues to guide everything we do.
Meet Our Founder
Dr. Chris Neibauer, DDS, FAGD
Dr. Neibauer’s connection to dentistry began early. After losing a front tooth during a family touch football game, he experienced firsthand the impact dental care can have on a person’s confidence and quality of life.
That early experience eventually grew into a career dedicated to helping others through dentistry.
After dental school and the early years of his career, Dr. Neibauer chose a path that would have a lasting influence on his approach to patient care. He sold his practice and much of what he owned and spent five years serving as a missionary dentist in Cameroon, Africa.
There, dentistry took on an even deeper meaning.
Patients often traveled long distances to receive treatment. Demand was high, resources were limited, and each day brought opportunities to relieve pain and improve lives.
The experience reinforced an important lesson: excellent dentistry is not only about clinical skill. It is also about compassion, efficiency, accessibility, and treating every patient with respect.
Those lessons would help shape the philosophy behind everything Dr. Neibauer built next.
From One Practice to a Bigger Vision
After returning from Africa, Dr. Neibauer continued practicing dentistry while dedicating himself to continuing education and finding better ways to serve patients.
He became equally passionate about creating systems and developing teams that could consistently deliver a high standard of care.
That commitment led him to build Neibauer Dental Care, which grew from a single practice into 26 practices across Virginia and Maryland between 2005 and 2011.
The experience taught him that building a successful dental organization was not simply about opening more locations. It was about creating a culture where talented people could grow, doctors could continually improve their skills, and patients could receive an exceptional experience at every visit.
After selling those practices, Dr. Neibauer eventually made Utah home and began his next chapter.
That chapter became Abundant Dental Care.
